TREASURER'S   REPORT:      Richard   Main   presented   the   Financial   report   for   April   as   presented   in   the   May   Business Meeting package.  Comment:  Richard Main:  It was a low month.  We had a deficit for the month but we came out okay.  We   were   very   fortunate   to   receive   a   tithe   gift   this   past   Sunday.      The   total   amount   of   tithe   received   for   last   Sunday   was $59,126.00      It   was   a   blessing   that   it   came   through   at   this   time.      We   are   about   $50,000   over   what   we   require   for   the   month of May.  Restoration   Update:      As   of   my   last   report,   we   have   $21,547   in   the   restoration   account.      We   are   trying   to   do   two   projects with   this   restoration   account.      We   ordered   lights   for   the   Fellowship   Hall   which   was   $2,668.      They   are   LED   lights   which theoretically   should   never   have   to   be   changed.      The   installation   is   going   to   be   done   inhouse   by   Joe   Caro.      He   might   need some   help   if   you   want   to   volunteer.      Someone   gave   us   a   $1,000   check   toward   the   purchase   of   the   lights.      We   had   to   take out   only   $1,600   out   of   the   account.      The   tiles   were   purchased   about   a   year   ago   which   were   almost   $830   to   replace   all   the tiles.  This came out of Mark Creighton's company.  Starting   Friday,   work   will   begin   on   the   offices   and   workroom.      Omar   Macho,   who   is   handling   this   project,   said   it   will   take about   a   week   to   complete   the   laying   of   the   tile.      Hopefully,   by   Monday   the   project   will   be   completed.      We   are   going   to   be short by about $2,450, which is an estimated amount.  We will probably need about $24,000 to $26,000 for both projects.  Motion   to   approve   the   financial   report   presented   for   April   was   made   by   Don   Whiddon   and   seconded   by   Ron   Lowe.     APPROVED by show of hands.  OLD BUSINESS:  None.  NEW BUSINESS:  Deacon's   Committee:      Kevin   Simmons   presented   a   recommendation   that   Myrtle   Grove   Baptist   Church   license   Freddie Zayas to the gospel ministry.  APPROVED by show of hands.
